Drilling services company Imdex has appointed former Woodside Petroleum executive Betsy Donaghey to its board as a non-executive director.
Earlier this month, Ms Donaghey resigned from her post as Woodside's executive vice president of the Browse liquefied natural gas development.
Prior to Woodside, Ms Donaghey worked for 19 years with BHP Billiton in roles in gas marketing, business planning and analysis, and reservoir engineering.
"Ms Donaghey's extensive experience in the oil and gas sector will be very valuable to Imdex as it continues to grow within the global oil and gas industry," Imdex said in a statement.
"The company's objective over the next two to four years is to generate at least 40% of Group revenues from the oil & gas industry, with at least 25% in the 2010 financial year."
