Best employers to be recognised

THE market downturn may take the heat off employers in the short term, but the experience of the past few years has shown that workers have far more choices about where and how they want to work – including whom they might work for. Acknowledging this rise in value with regard to a company’s brand with its potential workforce, WA Business News is to launch a new program, the Best Employer Awards, culminating in a gala luncheon next June. Companies entering the WA Best Employer Awards participate by engaging in an employee feedback survey, a unique survey developed specifically for the WA business market with a strong emphasis on attraction and retention of valuable employees. Offering staff complete anonymity, the survey will be conducted through Insync Surveys using a scientific and rigorous approach. At the conclusion of the awards a top 20 list will be made public and all participating companies will receive a detailed report about their business.
