Hot Bods Creatures – Owner Susy Griffiths.

Based in Belmont, HotBods manufactures, wholesales and exports a range of cuddly, wheat filled and scented creatures for use as comforters, aromatherapy friends and therapeutic heat or chill packs. Owner Susy Griffiths launched her first HotBods Bear in April 1996. The response was overwhelming and as word of the new product spread 30 000 HotBods had been sold in one year in Australia alone. The company now has a flourishing exportation business and employs 12 staff and 35 sewing sub contractors.

Regency Limousines – Director Dean Kow

Located in Redcliffe, Regency Limousines have been operating for two and a half years and employ five staff. The business was established in 1999 by Dean Kow, who in doing so fulfilled a lifelong ambition to become a premier leader in luxury ground transportation in WA. The company targets the corporate market, providing stretch limousines to overseas delegates and company directors. They also provide corporate sedans, mini buses and coaches.

Judges Awards

Graeme J Webster Racing Stables – Trainer and PR manager Graeme and Claudia Webster.

Graeme and Claudia Webster started their racing/entertainment business in Belmont about 18 months ago with the specific aim of training winning racehorses and providing horse owners with an entertaining and profitable day at the races. Webster stables has up to 15 horses in work being trained by Graeme who has more than 25 years’ experience in the racing industry.
