On Tuesday February 22 Family Business Australia will hold Behind the Halo – the Dial-An-Angel Story at the Matilda Bay Restaurant in Crawley.
Dial-An-Angel chief executive officer Danielle Robertson and her mother, Dial-An-Angel board of director’s chairman, Dena Blackman will speak about their experiences of running a family business.
Dial-An-Angel provides home-based services across Australia including housekeeping, child care, nursing, Eldercare-at-home, gardener-handyman services, pet care, caretaking, and home and corporate functions.
Ms Blackman started Dial-An-Angel in 1967 and since then three generations of the family have been involved in the business.
Ms Blackman believes the success of a family business is the crossroad of two unparalleled experiences – the raising and nurturing of a family and the building and nurturing of a business as a livelihood and an expression of personal vision and achievement.
Registrations for the event can be made to Family Business Australia for $50 for members and $60 for non-members.
