Former Consolidated Minerals managing director Rod Baxter has been appointed to the Murchison Metals board.
Mr Baxter joins the iron ore miner in a non-executive director capacity and will be issued with 200,000 options at an exercise price of $1.25 as part of his remuneration package.
Shares in Murchison were up 2.5 cents to 56.5c at 11:43 AEDT.
Mr Baxter resigned from his ConsMin position in April last year, three months after Ukranian group Palmary Enterprises completed a hotly contested takeover of the company.
