BOCS Ticketing has launched a new web site that will allow tickets to be purchased 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The new web site, developed by Perth-based web developer Amnet Limited, will enable consumers to browse event information, view venue details, seating plans and purchase tickets to Perth’s major entertainment events online.
Information regarding shows and events can be accessed by date, venue and category, or by using the search facility.
The system will automatically allocate the best seats available and allows a seating plan to be viewed.
The site, www.bocsticketing.com.au, was launched by Minister for Culture and the Arts Sheila McHale and Perth Thea-tre Trust chairperson Harry Morgan at a function held at His Majesty’s Theatre.
In launching the site, Ms McHale said in a press release it would provide show-goers with a secure, convenient alternative to the tradition of ‘camping out for tickets’.
“This new online ticketing service will be more convenient for ticket buyers and enhance the marketing potential for arts, entertainment and sporting events,” Ms McHale said.
“The security of online credit card transactions is protected by utilising the Department of Treasury and Finance SalesNet facility, which is used by other Government agencies.”
