THE winners of the annual WA Information and Telecommunications Awards will be announced at a function tomorrow evening.
THE winners of the annual WA Information and Telecommunications Awards will be announced at a function tomorrow evening. The awards night is one of the highlights on the IT and T calendar and will be held at the new ballroom of the Burswood Convention Centre. An audiovisual presentation of each of the finalists will be shown, followed by the announcement of each category winner.
Categories include the achiever, e-commerce, exporter, infrastructure, IT &T service, online, product, regional, student project and telecoms. Last year’s winners included the Department of Contract and Management Services, iNature, Woodside Energy, Lasata Software, Capricorn Society, Westnet and Cosy Corner Computing.
Edith Cowan University students Christopher Murray and Ron Nunn and UWA student Nick Lowe were joint winners of the Peter Fillery Award. Professor Jeff Rohl won the achiever gong.
