Australian Mines in trading halt

Shares in West Perth-based nickel miner Australian Mines Ltd have been placed in a trading halt, pending the release of an announcement regarding a potential capital raising and asset sale.

The company expects to make an announcement at the start of trading next Tuesday.

Shares in Australian Mines last traded at two cents.

The company currently produces nickel from its Blair project near Kalgoorlie.
