Australian Market & Social Research Society State Conference

The Australian Market & Social Research Society (AMSRS) is holding its 14th annual state conference, August 17 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The topic for this year’s conference is Insight: Creating value through research. A host of industry experts will conduct presentations on a variety of topics including branding concepts, emerging technologies, advertising effectiveness and research insights. Speakers include: •Professor John Rossiter – research professor of marketing, University of Wollongong (NSW); •Associate Professor Steve Bellman – deputy director of Interactive Television Institute, Murdoch University; •Darren Kemp – regional director, TNS Australia and New Zealand; •Paul Yole – strategic planner/ account director, Gatecrasher Advertising; •Meg Clarey – marketing manager, Health Department of WA; •Shaun Griffin – Asia Pacific director of online research, Synovate; •Professor Robert Donovan – director of innovation and social marketing & advertising policy AORE, Curtin University; and •Michael Beck – human resources manager – Ravensthorpe Nickel. This is an afternoon and evening event, including a light lunch, cocktail function and a dinner with Western Australian gourmet food and wine chosen by wine expert Larry Jorgensen.
