Australia’s South West: Building on the boom

The Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) is holding a pre-conference briefing on November 15 at the Hyatt Regency, in preparation for the South West Focus Conference to be held May 2 and 3 2007 in Busselton. The following speakers will present their ideas regarding the drivers behind the booming South West and associated future trends and opportunities: •Norm Malborough MLA – Minister for Small Business, Peel and the South West; •Nigel Satterley – chief executive, Satterley Property Group; •Ian Clarke – associate director, Macquarie Bank; •David Parker – director, Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA; •Clive Brown – consultants and former minister for state development; and •Alannah MacTiernan MLA – Minister for Planning & Infrastructure (invited).
