The Australian side only needed six wickets on the fifth day of the third test at Bellerive Oval, and after lunch, Pakistan was out for 206.
Pakistan was chasing a target of 438 runs.
Earlier in the day, Khurram Manzoor led the Pakistan resistance, reaching 77 and surviving nearly 32 overs. He shared in a 66-run stand with partner Mohammed Aamer before falling to Nathan Hauritz after the lunch break.
Aussie Peter Siddle bowled out last man Danish Kaneria, with Aamer remaining unbeaten on 30.
Shane Watson was named player of the series after scoring 346 runs at 69.20 and taking five wickets.
