Mining services company Ausdrill has secured three contract extensions, highlighted by a two-year, $US108 million ($142 million) deal at the Iduapriem gold mine in Ghana.
Canning Vale-based Ausdrill has been providing mining services at the site since 2014 for AngloGold Ashanti through its subsidiary, African Mining Services.
The company received a six-month extension to provide drilling, blasting and load and haul operations at the Syama gold mine, while also being awarded a three-year contract at Evolution Mining’s Mungari project in Western Australia.
Ausdrill managing director Ron Sayers said the company was pleased to renew the contracts.
“It is testament to the experience and reputation that Ausdrill and AMS have built in Australia and Africa over the years,” he said
“We look forward to continuing our working relationships with Evolution Mining, Resolute and AngloGold Ashanti into the future.”
