Ashurst appoints new partner

Stuart James has been appointed partner in Resources & Utilities team of Ashurst in Perth. Mr James re-joined Ashurst as a senior associate in 2009 after a number of years in London, having started as a graduate in the Sydney office in 2002. He advises principally on mergers and acquisitions, particularly in relation to investment in Australian energy and resources projects, in addition to general corporate and commercial matters. His experience includes advising corporate and investment firm clients.
