Bert Lozey has been appointed executive chef at Ascot Quays Apartment Hotel, and 150 East Bar and Restaurant when it opens in March.
Mr Lozey is a three-time Western Australian Chef of the Year.
He has also won four gold and two silver medals as part of the Australian National Culinary Olympics held in Berlin.
Mr Lozey has been in charge at Bertinis in Fremantle for the past three years.
