Arnold takes over reigns at AMEC

Anne Arnold has been appointed AMEC chief executive and will assume the position on July 4.

Ms Arnold was most recently executive director of the Office of Policy and Planning in the Department of Housing and Works.

In the nineties, she held a role as executive director of the WA division of the Urban Development Institute of Australia. She was also deputy chairman of the WA Planning Commission for three years.

Ms Arnold will replace George Savell, who retired from the chief executive position after sixteen years.
