Fitter provides a web-based platform that enables trainers to create and distribute personal training programs and nutritional content to anyone, anywhere through a brandable iOS and Android smartphone App. Trainers and health professionals using Fitter can remove the high cost and maintenance associated with product development to build and distribute their health content beyond their immediate client base. Paired with an integrated marketplace, Fitter allows them to earn a passive source of income through a subscription to their content.
Fitter is available on both iOS and Android platforms and relies on a web-based app to administer and develop programs.
Fitter was founded by Steven Scott and Rohan MacDonald. Mr Scott’s background in digital design, UX and product development, combined with Mr MacDonald’s business and project management experience have allowed them to focus on separate parts of the business and maintain an agile approach to development. The development team, led by Judd Kirby and Alberto Martinez, are the local developers with experience in web and app technology, security and platform integration.
“We like to think that Fitter gives anyone the power to deliver their awesome health programming like any celebrity fitness guru to an audience that is beyond their immediate client base,” Mr Scott said.
To date, the founders have bootstrapped the project to $60,000. To take the project to a wider audience, further product development and marketing as well as funding and advice is being sought through Venture Capital, investment and an advisory panel.
