Property investor Perron Group has announced the appointments of Adam Irving as its new chief financial officer and Richard Hicks as manager of governance, taxation and risk. Mr Irving is the current CFO of Automotive Holdings Group with a strong background in finance, while Mr Hicks has served in numerous roles at Perron since 1996 and is the current financial controller.
Australian strategic metals company TNG has appointed mining executive Terry Stark in the newly-created role of general manager mining operations. Mr Stark has 40 years’ experience in the mining and civil industries, including both underground and surface mining experience across Australia. He has also operated his own engineering services consultancy for the past six years.
Nicole Barnao and John Fitzgerald are joining the board at disability service company IdentityWA following the retirement of Levi Mpofu. Ms Barnao has held various roles in the community sector, and has over 20 years’ experience in property, financial and consulting services. Mr Fitzgerald was formerly the chief executive of Catholic Homes and chief operating officer of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Curtin University has appointed Tim McInnis as the new chief advancement officer to drive its advancement program in support of the university’s vision to become a global top 200 school. Mr McInnis is the former head of development at the Telethon Kids Institute and former director of the Royal Marsden Charity in London.
Cash Converters International has announced the resignation of chief financial officer Martyn Jenkins, who has served in several roles across Australia and the UK since joining the company in 2013. Katrina Grose has held the role as group financial officer since 2015 and will serve as CFO in the interim while the company undertakes its recruitment process.
MyFiziq has announced the appointment of Steven Richards as chief financial officer and company secretary. Mr Richards is a qualified chartered accountant with more than 15 years’ experience at a CFO level. He has worked for top brands PUMA Sports and Quicksilver, and for a number of fast-growing technology companies including HealthEngine and Airscope Industries.
London-based Kore Potash has appointed Andrey Maruta as its new chief financial officer. Mr Maruta is a chartered and certified accountant with over 16 years’ experience in the mining industry, including CFO work at London gold-mine Petropavlovsk Place. He has also worked in the audit function at accountancy firm Moore Stephens International in the UK and Russia.
The Heritage Council of WA has appointed three new members and reappointed six members. The new members are former president of WA legislative council John Cowdell, former chief executive of Heritage Perth Leigh Barrett and local historian and author Richard Offen. The returning members are Anne Arnold, Lloyd Clark, Sally Malone, Jennifer Marschner, Nerida Moredoundt and Brad Pettitt.
Perth-based Asterisk Information Security has announced the appointment of Raman Gill to the role of senior infrastructure consultant. Ms Gill has over 10 years’ experience in cyber security and has previously held security engineer roles at Empired and Kinetic IT. She has in-depth knowledge across a range of technology solutions including those provided by Asterisk, such as Check Point, McAfee and F5.
Carnavale Resources has announced Klaus Eckhof will step into the role of corporate and technical advisor, responsible for marketing the company’s projects throughout North America and Europe. Previously the executive chairman of AVZ Minerals, and had founded Spinifex Gold and Lafayette Mining in 1994, as well as Moto Goldmines in 2003.
