Paul Hegarty has been appointed chief financial officer at Mader Group. A chartered accountant, Mr Hegarty has worked as financial controller at Mineral Resources and group finance manager and company secretary at SRG Global. The company’s former chief financial officer Lili Lim will remain at Mader Group, transitioning into an operational finance role.
Medusa Mining has hired Patrick Warr as chief financial officer. Mr Warr joins the company from his role as partner audit and assurance at Grant Thornton, where he has worked for the past 15 years. He has experience in audit, due diligence reviews and the preparation of expert reports. He replaces Peter Alphonso who will continue to serve as company secretary.
EHR Resources has appointed Sean Whiteford as vice president business development and George Read as vice president exploration. Mr Whiteford is a geologist with more than 25 years’ experience in roles at companies including BHP, Rio Tinto and Cleveland Cliffs. Mr Read is an exploration geologist with 35 years’ experience in the diamond mining industry. He has previously worked for De Beers and Star Diamond Corporation.
Chris Tuckwell has been made general manager- operations at Fenix Resources. Mr Tuckwell will be responsible for the development of the Iron Ridge DSO iron ore project and will act as registered mine manager on site when in operations. He was previously managing director of MACA and chief operating officer at African Mining, which is a subsidiary of Perenti Global.
