Severine Logan will be the new chief winemaker at Calneggia Family Vineyards. Ms Logan began her career in France where she worked in Bordeaux, Alsace, Corsica and Burgundy before moving to Australia and working for Brown Brothers, Houghton Wines, Sandalford Wines and Rosemount Estates. She most recently worked as head winemaker at Watershed Premium Wines for twelve years.
Cash Converters International has appointed Michael Murphy as chief financial officer and Peter Egan as group chief risk officer. Mr Murphy is a chartered accountant with 25 years’ experience in Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom; his most recent role was in Hong Kong with Commonwealth Bank’s international financial services. Mr Egan has worked at the Bank of Queensland for the past seven years as the chief risk officer of retail banking and BOQ specialist.
Water Corporation has appointed Gningala Yarran-Mark to its board for a term of three years. A qualified lawyer, Ms Yarran-Mark works at United Group where she co-ordinates the company’s commitments under its Reconciliation Action Plan. She is also on the boards of Fairbridge College and Derbarl Yerrigan Health Services. Board members Jemma Green and Ross Holt were re-appointed to the board.
Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association has announced Santos chief executive Kevin Gallagher as chair and Senex Energy managing director Ian Davies as vice chair. Mr Gallagher replaces outgoing chair Zoe Yujnovich who held the job for two years and is starting a new role leading Shell’s global conventional oil and gas assets in Hague.
Darren Hedley has been promoted to chief executive energy & resources APAC at Sodexo Australia. Mr Hedley joined the company in 2017 as integrated facilities management services account director. He previously held several roles at Ensco Rowan for five years in the US and Singapore.
Paul Graham has been elected to the Committee for Perth board. Mr Graham is the chief executive officer at Keystart. Before undertaking his current role, he worked at NAB, ANZ and Grant Thornton. Charlotte Cameron was the only board member who was not re-elected.
