Bankwest chief economist Alan Langford will retire from his role at the end of June, after 31 years at the bank. Mr Langford began his career in 1989 as an economic research officer in 1989 and was appointed economist in September 1990. Prior to joining Bankwest, he worked as an economic research officer at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia.
Equipment rental agency Access Group Australia has appointed Robert Carlile as executive group general manager for sales and operations nationally. With leadership experience in the manufacturing and service sectors, Robert was previously executive general manager of Alsco.
Ian Grant has been appointed chief operating officer at Beach Energy. Mr Grant brings 25 years’ experience to the industry, most recently working as chief operating officer at Quadrant Energy and vice president of production operations at Santos. He has North Sea experience and has worked in Europe and Australia for companies including Mobil and Apache.
Pioneer Credit has appointed Andrea Hoskins as chief operating officer and promoted Barry Hartnett to chief development officer. Ms Hoskins joins the company from HBF where she was executive general manager - health and corporate services and is a non-executive director with Football West and Screenwest. Mr Hartnett was previously the general manager strategy and development.
PACT Construction has hired Travis Harvey as new business manager. Mr Harvey spent the past 13 years at Jaxon and Doric, the last three of those as group business development manager. During his career he had worked on projects including Parallel Apartments, Craigcare Ascot, Mantra Hotel, Rivershores and Albany Entertainment Centre.
Michael Milne will join Ray White as senior commercial property advisor. With over 30 years’ experience, Mr Milne has previously worked at CBRE Asia Pacific and spent nearly two decades at Blackburne.
Austin Devaney has joined Piedmont Lithium as vice president- sales and marketing. Trained as a chemical engineer, Mr Devaney has spent most of his career in senior commercial roles, including as lithium producer Albemarle’s vice president strategic marketing and customer excellence and as global product manager - lithium hydroxide at Rockwood Lithium, before it was bought by Albemarle.
