Liontown Resources has promoted Craig Hasson as chief financial officer. Previously working as financial controller for the company since late last year, Mr Hasson was appointed internally. After starting his career at Ernst & Young, he has since worked in a range of commercial and finance positions at Tawana Resources, Alita Resources and Otto Energy.
Intellectual property law firm Wrays has hired Richard Baddeley as principal. Mr Baddeley joins the firm after 31 years at Watermark, including when it became listed in the IPH Group of entities. He is the past president of The Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and governor and honorary secretary of the Petroleum Club WA.
Rod Jones has been appointed to the board of Youth Focus. Mr Jones co-founded education provider Navitas in 1994 and now serves as chair of the company. Prior to establishing Navitas, Mr Jones worked in the government education sector as deputy director of the Tertiary Institutions and Services Centre and Secondary Education Authority.
LJ Hooker Commercial Perth has appointed Ryan Abbott to its asset management team. For the past two decades, Mr Abbott has worked at Knight Frank as senior director of its asset management services in WA and company secretary. Most recently, Mr Abbott oversaw $400 million worth of CBD assets for Hawaiian.
