Rabia Siddique will be a non-executive director on the Auspire – Australia Day Council of WA board. A WA finalist for Australian of the Year in 2016 for her role as a human rights lawyer, Ms Siddique successfully negotiated the release of two SAS soldiers from Iraqi insurgents. After the British authorities buried her achievements and awarded her male colleague a Military Cross, Ms Siddique launched a discrimination case and won. She has since written a book and is a panelist and presenter.

Warren Harding has been appointed as chair of Alzheimer's WA, after former chair Craig Masarei’s retired. Mr Harding was appointed to the Alzheimer's WA board in December 2018 and deputy chair in January 2020. Over his career, he had worked in consulting for Deloitte, PwC and Accenture, and was the former Minister for Health’s nominee for the Sustainable Health Review. He is now an international analyst at Ecosystm and a senior advisor, adjunct professor at Curtin University.

HBA Legal has promoted Claire Tota from senior associate to partner. Ms Tota has worked at HBA Legal for the past nine years, after moving to the firm from Aherns Lawyers. Senior associate Deirdre Pennock, who joined the firm in 2019, will take the role of special counsel and solicitor Courtney Burrows has been made an associate.

Colleen Handy has been appointed to the board of Indian Ocean Consulting Group. Ms Handy has been a director at the company since 2017. She has taxation consultancy experience advising corporates, small and medium enterprises and high net worth individuals, working for firms including UHY Haines Norton, KPMG and Creaseys. 

Aussie Broadband has appointed Adrian Fitzpatrick as chair, replacing Ian Watson. Mr Fitzpatrick was one of the founding partners of Pitcher Partners, where he has since held senior leadership and management positions. GMHBA Health Insurance and ASX-listed Big River Industries' Vicky Papachristos and former Woolworths chief legal officer and company secretary Richard Dammery have been appointed as non-executive directors.
