Horizon Power has welcomed Tiri Sanderson as its general manager operations. Ms Sanderson has experience in operations, safety and improvement roles across the mining, transport and consumer goods sectors. She previously held senior leadership roles with Rio Tinto Iron Ore and most recently at Aurizon where she was operations manager.
Michelle Dillon is joining Rocky Bay Clinical Services team as director. Ms Dillon previously held director roles at Princess Margaret Hospital, South Metropolitan Health Service and Royal Perth Bentley Campus. Rocky Bay chief executive Michael Tait said Ms Dillon’s appointment comes at a critical time as the organisation continues to grow and modernise to meet the challenges of the NDIS.
Alistair Thornton has been appointed mining study manager and Iain Levy has been appointed senior resource geologist of Black Cat Syndicate, helping complete feasability studies and transition the Bulong Gold Project into mining. Both bring experience with mining in Kalgoorlie to their roles, with managing director Gareth Solly saying the appointments reaffirmed Black Cat’s commitment to developing a new mining centre close to Kalgoorlie.
