This week's appointments include Ben Fraser, Brendan Charlton, Anna Dartnell and Trystan Hughes.
Yurra has appointed Brendan Charlton as chief executive officer, effective April 27, replacing Liam Wilson. Mr Charlton, a Yindjibarndi man, has served on the Yurra board for three years, including as chair of its safety, people and culture committee. He brings experience across resources, infrastructure and construction, and previously held senior roles at Woodside. Mr Wilson will continue as managing director, focusing on the company’s strategic growth.
The Perth Basketball Association has appointed Ben Fraser as chief executive, effective April 22, succeeding Ryan Lenegan. Mr Fraser previously managed the Lakeside Recreation Centre and held senior roles with the West Ham United Foundation and Football West. He brings experience in facility operations and talent development to the association, which runs the Perth Redbacks and oversees competitions from junior WABL to NBL1 West state level.
Tellus has appointed Anna Dartnell as chief operating officer, effective April 28. Based in Perth, Ms Dartnell joins from Aurizon, where she was group executive bulk. She brings more than 25 years’ experience across organisations including Rio Tinto, EY, General Motors and Foster's Group.
Dalaroo Metals has appointed Trystan Hughes as exploration manager to oversee its projects in Greenland and Western Australia. Mr Hughes brings experience from Amaroq Limited’s Nalunaq gold project in Greenland, spanning production and exploration. He holds qualifications from Cardiff University and the WA School of Mines. The appointment comes as Dalaroo advances exploration at its Blue Lagoon rare earths project.
