Antares online in Oklahoma

ANTARES Energy has announced that gas production is set to commence at its Oklahoma gas well following the completion of pipeline connections to its Ellis County gas wells to a regional sales line. All aspects of the gas marketing and sales arrangements have been finalised and the company expects the pipeline operator to commence production from its well shortly. Formerly Amity Oil, the energy firm changed to its US subsidiary’s name in November last year. According to the company, this move is symbolic of its objective to establish a substantial US oil and gas business. In Australia, Amity achieved early prominence with gas discoveries in the onshore Bonaparte Basin, but failed to develop a sizeable oil or gas field.
