Lifeline WA has appointed Keith Amos manager for the Lifeline WA Pilbara sub-centre.
Mr Amos is joining Lifeline WA from the Council for Christian Education in Schools in Victoria, where he has held various roles including school services manager, development officer, publications manager and marketing manager.
His role at Lifeline WA Pilbara will include locating suitable premises and the operational set-up and running of the centre, recruiting and managing volunteers and paid staff, and developing and maintaining local support for the service.
Mr Amos has almost 30 years’ experience in the area of welfare and management, and holds an Associate Diploma in Welfare Work and a Certificate in Association Management Program.
Lifeline WA has received a $10,000 donation from Woodside towards the Pilbara sub-centre, due to open June 8.
