JACKSON Gold announced a new acquisition to add to its Wallbrook project, located 125 kilometres northeast of Kalgoorlie.
Jackson has agreed to enter into an agreement to acquire 90 per cent of the gold rights in the Yerilla project from Minara Resources by spending $400,000 within three years. The Yerilla project is located near the historic Yerilla mining centre, 50km north-west of Jackson’s Wallbrook resource area.
Jackson, based in Perth, has commenced resource modelling of the Bull Terrier deposit, which will result in a gold resource to be announced in conjunction with the updated Wallbrook project resource statement in July.
The company must spend a minimum of $100,000 on the entire tenement package prior to withdrawal.
Jackson will earn only gold rights after meeting the conditions. Minara retains all rights to lateritic and sulphide Nickel and associated ore minerals.
