Adcorp will bolster its creative capabilities in the coming months through the acquisition of a local design outfit.
Adcorp general manager David Morrison confirmed discussions had taken place with an unnamed business but could not reveal any details of the deal, indicating any announcement was at least a few weeks away.
Mr Morrison said the agency was looking to bolster its creative team for work mainly in its property marketing area.
“We support a lot of our offerings with freelance staff and we have two full-time designers. We’re doing a lot of work in property which are ads for new developments,” he said.
Adcorp listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 1999 and recruited former TMP Advertising and Communications State director David Morrison to head up the Western Australian operations late last year.
