Media agency Adcorp Australia has been reappointed to the Western Australian government’s non-campaign media contract.
The company has been awarded the buying and planning contract for a 3-year period with a further 2-year extension option available.
Adcorp retained the media buying contract after first winning it in 2008.
Chief executive of Adcorp David Morrison welcomed the state government’s decision.
“We are very pleased to be reappointed to this contract and it is a testament to the efficiencies of Adcorp’s proprietary online media booking and artwork building system along with the dedication to customer service of our Perth team,” he said.
Adcorp also hold the non-campaign master media agency contract with the federal government.
The company’s reappointment to the WA government contract comes on the back of Bankwest’s announcement that it is returning its media buying and planning activities to Perth.
Last week WA Treasurer Troy Buswell announced a freeze on government advertising and promotions until June 30 as part of a $92 million short-term savings package to reduce state expenditure.
