Is it a first? The Note is certainly counting on it. Curtin University reckons its graduate Bhavesh Haria, who recently qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, has achieved a first. Mr Haria apparently joins only 17 qualified actuaries working in Western Australia and is believed to be the state’s first “home grown” actuary
