Has agreed to exercise its option to acquire a 100% interest in the Sherlock Bay Nickel Copper Project. The directors have executed a conditional acquisition agreement with final approval to be referred to shareholders.



A joint venture company 50% owned by Finbar has entered into a conditional contract to acquire the 6,480 square metres of land with frontages to Terrace Road and Adelaide Terrace in Perth  for $9.5 million.  Finbar will hold its 50% interest in the development through a joint venture company named 132 Terrace Road Joint Venture Pty Ltd.

Technology Incubation Group Limited


Tiger International Hatchery Pty Ltd has now been granted an Aquaculture Licence by the Department of Fisheries of Western Australia for the culture of prawns at a site at the Broome Tropical Aquaculture Park. TIL will now increase its shareholding in Tiger from 25 percent to 49 percent by committing $250,000 to the forthcoming semi-commercial trial to be conducted by Tiger.

Western Areas NL


Has executed an agreement which will enable it to acquire Outokumpu Mining Australia's remaining 25% interest in the Forrestania nickel project. Western Areas will make an initial, non refundable deposit of $100,000 within 30 days of the agreement and then a final payment of $900,000 to Outokumpu by 31 October 2003.
