AWB monopoly removal call

THE Western Australian wheat lobby will send a message to Prime Minister Howard to revoke AWB’s wheat export monopoly powers. Long-time critic of the AWB single desk, Leon Bradley of the PGA, has joined with the grains division of the WA Farmers Federation to send a message to Canberra that WA growers want the AWB’s right to veto wheat exports from other companies removed immediately.
