The contract is for an initial three-year period with three 2-year extension options.
Under the agreement, ASG will provide ICT managed services support to CASA including help desk, desktop and mid range infrastructure support services.
ASG chief officer sales and strategic operations Murray Rosa said the company is currently in advanced discussions on other "significant" contracts.
The CASA contract win follows other government projects recently secured including the National Museum of Australia and Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.

IT Services provider ASG Group (ASX: ASZ) is pleased to announce that it has signed a new contract with the Federal Government's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
The initial contract of 3 years is valued at $8 million however the contract also has three 2 year extension options potentially providing a 9 year engagement.
CASA is the Federal agency responsible for ensuring the safety regulation of civil air operations in Australia and the operation of Australian aircraft overseas. It also provides comprehensive safety education and training programmes.
Under the agreement, ASG will provide ICT Managed Services support to CASA including help desk, desktop and mid range infrastructure support services.
The contract follows other Federal Government projects recently secured by ASG with the National Museum of Australia, National Capital Authority, IP Australia, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and Airservices Australia.
ASG Chief Officer Sales & Strategic Operations Murray Rosa said the company's Federal Region operation in Canberra had demonstrated strong growth during the 2009 financial year.
"This contract with CASA reaffirms ASG's unique position as the leading Australian IT Managed Services provider and clearly differentiates us in our chosen markets," said Mr Rosa.
"This is another multi-year contract for ASG that provides a significant boost to our revenue in the 2009 financial year and beyond.
"We are in advanced discussions on other significant contracts and feel well placed to secure additional work in the coming months."
