Carey Marshall has been appointed as general manager of ASCO Group’s local subsidiary ASCO Transport & Logistics (formerly Bonnie Rock Transport).
Mr Marshall has a strong background in oil and gas field logistics, including senior positions with Oilfield and General Transport (OGT), Linfox with responsibility for the Gorgon project and Schlumberger Oilfield Services based in Darwin.
Prior to joining ASCO, he was Transport Manager WA/NT for Holcim Australia.
Mr Marshall takes over the role of general manager from Ron Currie, who left to pursue other interests after spending 17 years in the business his father Jim Currie founded in 1998.
ASCO Group acquired Bonnie Rock Transport from the Currie family in May 2014, recently rebranding the company to ASCO Transport & Logistics.
