THE ANZ Bank's seasonally adjusted count of job vacancies
advertised in WA newspapers rose by 1.6 per cent between November and December.
Vacancies have risen by 0.9 per cent in the past three
months and increased by 37.2 per cent through the year to December 2004.
Nationally, vacancies advertised in newspapers fell by 3.4
per cent between November and December.
Vacancies have fallen by 0.4 per cent in the past three
months and rose by 8.1 per cent, on a seasonally adjusted basis, in the 12 months
to December.
