AHG deal with IBA

ADVANCE Health Care Group (AHG) has announced a collaboration with IBA Health, Australia’s largest listed eHealth company. Under the deal, IBA will deliver a community based electronic prescribing, medication management and delivery capability to AHG. The Perth-based company will acquire IBA’s integrated Pharmacy and Electronic Health Record technology under a $2 million licence and service agreement. In addition, IBA will participate with AHG in the establishment of the ePharmacy Joint Venture with the ePharmacy-My Chemist-Chemist Warehouse Group recently announced by AHG. This ePharmacy joint venture will be the driving force behind the national expansion of the groups’ ecommerce pharmacy business, AHG said in a statement. IBA will initially contribute via a $2m convertible note investment in AHG.
