AHA celebrates WA’s hospitality

The Whistling Kite, M on the Point and the Sheraton have won the major prizes at this years Australian Hotels Association Aon Hotel Awards for Excellence.

Located at Secret Harbour, the Whistling Kite was named the AHA De Bortoli/6PR Perth Pub of the Year. The Regional Hotel/Tavern of the Year Award was presented to M on the Point, which is located in Mandurah. The Sheraton again won the Deluxe Accommodation Award.

Neil Randall also received the Hospitality Industry Lifetime Achievement Award.

The finalists and winners across 50 categories were recognised for their achievements across a range of areas including standards of excellence in service, presentation, the responsible service of alcohol, innovation and accommodation.
