ACCC grounds British Airways

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission forced British Airways PLC to extend a discount air ticket offer and alter its advertising following an investigation into misleading ads. British Airways advertising in Perth had promised flights between Australia and the U.K. for $A1,699 when in fact the real cost was $A100 higher. British Airways extended the offer period for the discount flights and altered its advertising accordingly
