The national building industry watchdog has filed new proceedings against CFMEU representative Joseph McDonald over industrial action at Mirvac's Peninsula Project.
The Australian Building and Construction Commission alleges Mr McDonald convened an unauthorised stop work meeting with Mirvac Constructions employees at the Peninsula site in Burswood last September.
Mr McDonald allegedly disrupted work on the site, with the meeting resulting in 125 Mirvac employees leaving the site and failing to perform their work.
Proceedings were filed by the ABCC on September 11 and the first directions hearing is set for October 9.
Maximum penalties could see CFMEU fined $140,000 and Mr McDonald $30,000.
