Directors of A1 Minerals Limited are pleased to announce receipt of approvals from both the Department of Environment and Conservation (DEC) and the Department of Mining and Petroleum (DMP) for the Brightstar - Beta Gold Project.
The DEC has granted Works Approval for the construction of the treatment plant and the DMP has granted, subject to the lodgement of bonds, Environmental Mining Approval.
These approvals, together with the successful raising of $2.9m under the recent Share Purchase Plan (ASX 29 July 2009), continue the process for the development of the BrightStar Gold Project and allow the company to maintain its impetus towards a commencement of production in the December quarter.
