A truly premier occasion

NEXT month, as Premier Geoffrey Gallop (pictured right) celebrates 500 days as WA leader, he will headline the second in WA Business News’ series on Succession and Success.

Under Dr Gallop’s leadership, Labor has entered a new era – even winning guarded praise from business for its economic responsibility following last week’s budget.

After a year of finding its feet, and restructuring the mechanism of government, Dr Gallop is entering into a new phase, turning major policy into legislation.

Law reforms and, most significantly, industrial relations are high on the agenda.

It is with this backdrop that Dr Gallop will join WA Business News at a special breakfast on June 26.
