Congratulations to all winners of the 2003 WA Business
News 40under40 Awards.
The diversity of backgrounds and the talents demonstrated by
the 40 young business people honoured by these awards is
impressive and inspiring. The award winners represent a broad
spectrum of business and community activity and all deserve
praise for their innovation, drive, hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.
The ability and professionalism these young people display is an
encouraging sign for the future of the State of Western Australia.
I would particularly like to congratulate Nathan Buzza on his
selection as ‘1st Amongst Equals ’and the new ambassador of the
WA Business News 40under40 Awards for 2003.
Nathan has overcome personal adversity to achieve significant
commercial success and business leadership. At the age of 32,his
company CommTech Wireless, is successfully exporting specialist
communications equipment all over the world. In 2002,
CommTech Wireless also won both the Emerging Exporter
Award and the C.Y.O ’Connor Award for Excellence in
Engineering and Technology at the Western Australian Industry
and Export Awards.
The WA Government has been pleased to be associated with
this award program and congratulates WA Business News on
establishing the Award. It is important as a community that we
recognize the innovation and achievements of young people and
highlight their contribution to WA ’s future prosperity and
development.
Congratulations to the 2003 40under40 business and community
leaders.
