My employer lodged nomination, sponsorship and 457 visa application last July. We forward all the documenation required. Now one year has passed. We are still waiting for the visa. Who can give me a reason?

I'd like to know what is being done to address all the other types of visa applications that are sitting in a queue waiting to be seen to while case officers focus on reducing the influx of subclass 457's? We've had an ENS visa application in for over six months now and no updates apart from news of more delays!
