During Peter Brown’s tenure as managing director of WestNet, he has overseen the growth of the Internet service provider from a small regional business to a national organisation.
Company revenues have expanded 200 per cent, staff numbers have increased from 10 to 90 and the company now boasts a customer base of around 44,000.
The company has also acquired several small struggling ISPs in recent times.
WestNet is now a major Western Australian business that is showing potential in the eastern States, already with over 300 interstate agencies.
Mr Brown was a director of Mitchell and Brown Communications in Geraldton prior to his position at WestNet.
