Prior to setting up her own management consultancy, Danicia Dutry was head-hunted from BHP Billiton Iron Ore by Woodside Energy to become Woodside’s senior external affairs adviser. She designed the company’s corporate citizenship program, which was benchmarked nationally as the best in industry. Ms Dutry spent two years managing the external communication and social impact assessment for the Enfield oil project, which won the 2003 Golden Gecko Award for innovation in consultation. Ms Dutry left Woodside and set up her own consultancy, Q&A Communications, in 2002 to cater to an identified gap in the market for community consultation specialists. The consultancy provides an integrated approach to stakeholder engagement, change management, corporate citizenship and social impact marketing.
