Professor Wally Cox BSc (Agric) PhD, FAIM, FAICD, FTSE, PSM is the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Business and Public Management at Edith Cowan University (ECU).
He has also recently been awarded the Public Service Medal, Australia Day 2002. He is President of the Institute of
Public Administration Board Australia (WA) and a Board Member of Workpower.
John Groppoli has been a partner with Deacons since 1987 and also is: Chairman, Dome Coffee Group of Companies; Director, Hay View Vineyard Ltd; Director, Retravision (WA) Ltd. John's principal areas of expertise include: advising with respect to private equity mergers and acquisitions; and franchising, including strategic planning, with respect to the establishment of franchise schemes at a national and international level.
Bryan Hughes has held the role of Managing Partner since the company’s establishment in 1994. He has worked exclusively in the area of insolvency and corporate reconstructions since 1991, coming to Norgards from Arthur Andersen (Andersen). In this time he has had experience on significant administrations within a diverse range of industries including mining, hospitality, printing, shipbuilding, agriculture, viticulture and aquaculture.
Garry Hunt is a graduate in business and local government, a Fellow of the Local Government Managers Australia and AIM. Garry is a former President of the Western Australian Institute of Municipal Management and in 1998 received a Public Service Medal for his contribution
to local government management. From 1997 to 2000 Garry was the International Vice President of the International City/County Management Association.
Des Klass is currently Director, Master of Leadership & Management at Curtin. He has worked extensively on training programs for various organisations through the Curtin Business Centre, the Strategic Planning and Decisions Unit, and AIM. Over the past six years Des has focused on providing support to organisations both nationally and internationally in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Barry Knight has 24 years’ experience in the recruitment and human resources consulting industry through-out Australasia. He has significant involvement in all aspects of the industry including executive and non-executive, Director and Board appointments, CEO and senior and middle management appointments. Barry joined the industry after 10 years in management and has worked extensively in both New Zealand and Australia.
John Krasnostein is MBA Program Chair and Senior Lecturer in International Business and Strategic Management at Murdoch University. He has degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in USA. John has worked in global strategic planning and finance at the Ford Motor Company, and has been a consultant to Caltex Australia, Texaco and Chevron Oil among others.
Dr Paul McLeod is the Executive Dean of the Faculties of Economics and Commerce, Education and Law at the University of Western Australia. He has been the Dean of the Faculties of Economics and Commerce, and previously Head of the Department of Economics. As Executive Dean, Dr McLeod is a
member of the majority University decision making committees.
Stephen Langsford is a founder and the national Managing Director of METHOD, the e-business development and integration divisions of SMS Management & Technology. Stephen’s career spans directing roles in finance with leading international consultancies and funds management groups and the IT industry. Stephen is also an executive member of SMS Management & Technology, which bought METHOD in 1999.
Erica Smyth oversees stakeholder relations and the positioning of Woodside Energy Ltd in the external environment. Her extensive experience in the mining industry encompasses work in iron ore, minerals, gold and diamond exploration throughout Australia and overseas. Erica has completed a BSc (Hons) in Geology at UWA and a MSc (Applied) at McGill University, Canada. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

is Director (WA) of CPA Australia, the largest profess-ional accounting body for leaders in finance, accounting and business advice, with 95,000 members spread across Australia, Asia and Europe. In Western Australia there are 7,000 members with 2,800 in Industry and Commerce; 1,000 in Government and almost 1,700 in Public Practice. As at November 2001 the CPA designation is rated as the preferred business designation.
