3D content online

BENTLEY-based Dynamic Digital Depth has devised a way to deliver 3D content over the Internet.

The company’s patent-ed DeepSee Studio Pro technology allows any existing 2D content to be converted to stereo 3D and formatted for distribution on standard Internet-enabled PCs.

Viewable in either 2D or 3D, the file is embedded with 3D data that increases the file size by as little as 2 per cent.

DDD has already landed developer agreements to deliver DeepSee capabilities for three major Internet video players.
