The Australian Institute of Project Management will hold its annual conference from Sunday, October 10, to Tuesday, October 12, at the Sheraton Hotel Perth.
The conference is open to anyone involved in project management and aims to promote the profession of project management by improving knowledge, skills, and competence of project team members, managers and project directors.
Over the course of the conference the institute will present a number of topics for discussion to explore and share new ideas, review industry trends and examine the future of project management as a profession.
The three-day program has human resource management, project management organisation, risk management, stakeholder management and information technology management on the agenda for discussion.
These topics will incorporate the tools and techniques used to work effectively, and case studies related to the industry will also be examined.
The conference will conclude with a keynote address from Fremantle Dockers coach Chris Connolly and the 2004 Project of the Year Award winner who will be announced o day two of the conference at the Project Management Achievement Awards Gala Dinner.
Registrations can be made with the Australian Institute of Project Management for AIPM members $1500 and non-members $1705.
