2003 Commercial Property Conference

On Tuesday February 25 and Wednesday February 26, the Property Council of Australia are holding the 2003 Commercial Property Conference at the Joondalup Resort. The conference has been designed to keep attendees abreast of developments in the commercial property sector and will include informative presentations on areas such as, the Eastern Gateway Plans, Northbridge Initiatives, the City Rail Development, the New Contaminated Sites Legislation, Public Liability Law Reform, and the New Lift Codes and Disability Access. Keynote speakers for the conference include, City of Perth, Lord Mayor, Dr Peter Natrass, who will speak about the City of Perths initiatives; Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier and Legislative Assembly Member forRockingham, the Honourable Mark McGowan,nwho will discuss the WA Governments public liability reform and its implications for commercial property; WA Police Service Perth Burglary Team, Detective Sergeant John Leonhardt, who will talk about security concerns in office and retail properties and responses; and Clayton Utz, partner, Christian Willing, who will speak about the new contaminated site legislation.
