$18m of contracts exchanged at The Peninsula at Burswood

MIRVAC FINI recently exchanged contracts for 19 ‘executive terraced homes’, collectively valued at more than $18 million, in the company’s master planned community, The Peninsula at Burswood. The 19 homes were priced from $920,000 to $1,100,000 with the majority of the three-storey architecturally designed homes bought by owner-occupiers. The release follows the off-the-plan sellout of the first two apartment buildings at The Peninsula. The third of seven apartment buildings is due for release off the plan late in 2005, with the next housing release in early 2006. Mirvac Fini CEO Adrian Fini said he believed the strong sales success of the executive terraced homes reflected the popularity of the Mirvac product in the WA marketplace. “When Fini Group merged with Mirvac Group in 2001, we were excited at the prospect of being able to introduce homes that reflect the superior arch-itectural knowledge, experience and expertise of Mirvac Group and HPA Architects,” Mr Fini said. “I think the sell-out success of the executive terraced homes shows that we have hit the nail on the head and we are creating exactly the type of homes that discerning WA buyers are looking for – architecturally designed, high quality, functional and stylish.” Once complete, The Peninsula will include a mix of houses, terraced homes, apartments and retail, with more than 2.5 hectares of landscaped parklands. It will include approximately 1,000 dwellings and will be home to nearly 3,000 residents.
